Synergy partner Mark Pattrick has taken out the prestigious Partner of the Year award at the 2018 Australian Accounting Awards.
Since starting at Synergy in 2007, Mark has worked across all levels in Federal Government. Part of what makes Mark so successful is his ability to empower his Executive Directors and Senior Managers to build businesses within businesses. This gives his team the autonomy to make decisions, including recruitment, revenue management and market positioning.
One of Mark’s proudest achievements in 2017 was the promotion of three of his Senior Managers to the level of Executive Director across our team of 60+ consultants. Mark was intimately involved in their professional development and his continual mentoring over several years has led to improved revenue growth across the team. Mark was also instrumental in the development, mentoring and internal promotions of three Partners in 2018, 2017 and 2015.
Through strategic recruitment decisions, Mark has made a significant impact in expanding the capabilities that Synergy can offer our clients across all service lines. A combination of organic staff development/promotion and targeted recruitment of talented individuals has helped drive sustainable revenue growth.

Mark supported the incubation of the Data Analytics Service Line which is now providing cutting edge dashboards and visualisations which are in high demand by our clients.
